Heads up on our fourth event!
Featuring a theme -- 'Taking Flight' -- and our second Bake-Off
Doors 6.30pm, February 9th, Exchange Dublin
Quick everybody, stop holding your breath! Milk and Cookie Stories are proud to announce our fourth event, in association with Exchange Words, will be happening Tuesday February 9th in Exchange Dublin, Temple Bar. Doors open at 6.30pm and the event should go on until about 10pm.
Milk and Cookie Stories is for anyone who has a story to tell, or wants to hear a tale told well, in a relaxed, friendly environment ~ a place with tea, cushions, cookies and friends. The event will consist of open mic storytelling, with one or two featured storytellers. Our event is free and everyone is welcome. We encourage stories of all kinds.
Our theme for this month is the wonderfully pliable “Taking Flight” - themed stories are encouraged wherever possible, but feel free to digress if you want (we love all kinds of stories!). If there's anyone out there dying to get up and tell a tale but looking for some inspiration, we hope we can provide a little lift to get those ideas off the ground.ANNOUNCEMENT! BAKE-OFF! That's right; it's a bake-off. There's lots of cookies at Milk and Cookies. What's even better is that loads of these are brought by all you beautiful people who love to bake cookies and share stories. And we want to give something back! After the success of last month's battle royale, we're giving you all a second shot to show us what kind of ingredients you're comprised of. Three judges will be selected from the audience to award a particularly tasty cookie baker a prize at least the equal of all the effort that went into your creation. And if cookies aren't your chosen medium, all forms of baked goods are welcome.
Milk and Cookies has been getting so much better each month that we've been forced to look up the word "exponential". Milk and Cookies 4 promises to be the greatest yet; and whether you've dropped by before or just heard about us, we hope to see you there! Please see our awfully good-lookin' flyer for more details.
And remember, Milk and Cookies ♥'s you!
(Yes, there are cookies, of all sorts of shapes, sizes and flavours!)
